Luke took Katie hunting this weekend, and shared this story with me. It is so funny that I had to share it with you. (Note: He didn't take a camera, so I'm posting the story with an old pic of him with the girls, ready to go out to the woods!)Luke and Katie were sitting in the deer blind, watching for animals, when out comes a young buck and a young doe. They are interested in each other, and are chasing each other around the blind. They are MORE interested in each other than in hunters who might be in the blind, because Katie and Luke had this conversation without scaring away the deer:
(Luke): Look, Katie. They are playing chase with each other.
(Katie): No they aren't, Dad. They are mating.
I guess maybe we watch a little bit too much Animal Planet in our house! ha ha!!

You cant get ANYTHING past smart, little Katie! Glad they had fun... she told me they made a few "kills."
