Hummingbirds

I always keep a couple of hummingbird feeders around on our porch, as I like to watch them out the windows, especially when doing those "fun" chores like washing dishes.  My kitchen window looks right out to the porch.

Usually I fill them about once a week or so.  However, I think the hummers must be migrating through or something, because lately I'm having to fill the feeders once every day or once every two days!  Just look how many are hovering around this feeder!This was right at dusk, and I just walked out to the porch and took the picture.  They weren't scared of me at all... they kept right on eating and fighting with each other over spots on the feeder.

This is the kind of thing you get excited about when you live in the middle of nowhere.  We have no crazy neighbors to talk about, so we talk about the animals!!
